This steel bottom plate, CBP, comprises of three pieces, available off the shelf, and should be used when the bottom part of the enclosure must be covered. The enclosure's stated protection degree will remain intact. The plates can be removed easily to allow for mounting of cabling accessories.

Feature: Zinc plated steel bottom plates for installing cables into floor standing enclosures.

Advantage: The bottom plates consist of three pieces, available off the shelf, and ensures that the open space in the bottom of the enclosure is covered guaranteeing the enclosure's protection degree.

Benefit: The protection degree of the enclosure is maintained which is especially important for components that are sensitive to dust and humidity. Cables can be quickly installed into the enclosure either by using cable glands as the bottom plates can easily be removed, or by using a cable section profile as the bottom plates can be adjusted.

Comment: Cabling accessories such as cable glands, gland plates or cabling section profiles must be ordered separately to maintain the enclosure's high protections degree. The bottom plates are only required for combinable enclosures (MCSL), as bottom plates are included as standard in all other floor standing enclosures.
