Raystat EX-02 Mechanical Thermostat
nVent RAYCHEM Raystat-EX-02 is a hazardous area mechanical surface sensing thermostat providing temperature control for heating cables. Switching temperature range -4 °C to 163 °C, adjustable externally to the Ex enclosure by a dial mounted under a bolted-on cover and seal. Switching current capacity is 22 A.

Design
- Simple to install and operate: supplied with 3 m long stainless steel fluid filled bulb and capillary, single cable entry through 3/4" NPT thread with nVent RAYCHEM cable glands available to suit non-armoured/armoured cables
- Energy saving, line-sensing electronic control thermostat
- Adjustable set point: -4 °C to 163 °C (externally to the Ex enclosure by dial mounted under bolted-on cover and seal)
- Direct switching, maximum current 16 A, 230 VAC: single pole change-over with volt-free contacts, SPDT
- Lightweight cast aluminium with stainless steel fittings, can be pipe mounted using nVent RAYCHEM support brackets or surface mounted
