Copper Utility Ground Plate, One Pigtail

The nVent ERICO Copper Utility Ground Plate with One Pigtail is a grounding and bonding solution designed for the Irrigation industry. The pigtail is welded using a Cadweld exothermic connection to create a permanent molecular bond that will not loosen or corrode, ensuring the durability and reliability of the system. The ground plate provides a large surface area to dissipate current into the ground, which is beneficial in areas with high resistivity, such as rocky, sandy, or shallow soil conditions, where using only a ground rod may not be feasible. The pigtail provides added flexibility in the placement of the ground plate.
