The company’s reliable, timely, and high-quality service has helped build deep relationships in both the private and public sectors. When a water treatment plant in Austin, TX, needed to update its infrastructure, the plant hired Commerce Controls to design and install new electrical control panels.  But there was an issue: The electrical enclosures required by the city of Austin were no longer in production. Updating the facility would require making an informed decision on which enclosures on the market offered the most reliable protection.  Upon consulting with its trusted distributor, Commerce Controls recommended replacing the previous generation of enclosures with nVent HOFFMAN IEC Modular Enclosures.  Based on their demonstrated durability and flexibility, the city accepted the proposal and incorporated the IEC Enclosures into its framework for standardized, city-approved products for future use.
