Sara Zawoyski Named Notable CFO by Twin Cities Business Magazine

Amanda Nelson Named to Notable Women in Technology

We are excited to share that nVent Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer Sara Zawoyski and Sr. Global Product Manager Amanda Nelson have been selected for inclusion in the Twin Cities Business 2024 Notable Awards section of the December/January issue. Zawoyski has been selected as a 2024 Notable Chief Financial Officer. Nelson has been selected as a 2024 Notable Women in Technology honoree. Both honorees will be highlighted in a special section of the December/January print edition of Twin Cities Business and online at tcbmag.com. 

The Notable series from Twin Cities Business features best-in-class Minnesota executives and leaders across a range of industries. The leaders profiled in these categories are nominated by their peers at work and in the community. 
 



 

 

Sara Zawoyski 

Zawoyski was named nVent’s Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer in 2019 and is currently serving as nVent's interim President of Enclosures. She previously served as the company’s Senior Vice President of Finance and Treasury. Prior to nVent, Zawoyski held several chief financial officer positions for various global business units and served as vice president of Investor Relations at Pentair. Prior to joining Pentair in 2010, she served in multiple finance leadership roles with PepsiAmericas and began her career at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Zawoyski holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign College of Business.

Amanda Nelson 

Nelson is a Senior Global Product Manager at nVent where she leads product management and field services for nVent’s global climate control portfolio. She joined nVent in 2022 as a Product Marketing Manager. Prior to nVent, she worked in several technical roles, including product management, at Banner Engineering and as an applications engineer at Hysitron Nanotechnology. Nelson holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from the University of Wisconsin – Stout and an MBA from the Carlson School of Management. 

All 2024 honorees will be celebrated at an event in January 2025. Congratulations to Sara and Amanda!
