Our acquisition of ECM Industries in 2023 introduced new products to the nVent Electrical Connections offering, which we have since integrated into a broad portfolio of electrical protection and power connection solutions for our customers. Today, we are pleased to share an update of how our Electrical Connections portfolio is being organized and branded to our external customer audiences. 

We are integrating legacy ECM Industries solutions into our existing Electrical Connections offering under two electrification platforms: electrical protection and power connections. These platforms will help nVent customers more easily choose the right solutions and leverage the power of the broad nVent portfolio while continuing to build nVent’s reputation as an innovative partner to our customers offering a comprehensive portfolio of reliable solutions and application expertise.  

The two platforms will be established under the nVent ERICO and nVent ILSCO brands: 

• The electrical protection platform will be offered under the nVent ERICO brand and include all grounding and bonding, lightning and surge protection products previously offered by nVent ERICO, ILSCO grounding and Surge Suppression Inc. (SSI).  
• The power connections platform will be offered under the nVent ILSCO brand and include all legacy ILSCO products except for grounding and bonding and surge protection accessories.

nVent’s Electrical Connections segment boasts a strong history of innovation from brands like nVent CADDY and nVent ERICO that is now enhanced by exciting new solutions from ECM, including nVent ILSCO. Making nVent ILSCO one of our core electrification platforms enhances our commitment to delivering the safe, efficient and high-performance solutions our customers turn to, when failure is not an option. 

Additionally, Utilco is becoming nVent UTILCO. Power utilities are an important focus for nVent as we continue to grow in the infrastructure vertical and we are committed to meeting the needs of our utility customers. This includes honoring industry-leading specifications as we work together to build and maintain a reliable electrical grid. Our trusted and expertly engineered nVent UTILCO solutions provide reliability, longevity and confidence in meeting the ever-evolving demands on the electrical grid.  

These branding changes will begin to take effect September 30, 2025, and be executed on a rolling basis over the course of the next several months. Customers or distribution partners with questions about these changes should direct them to their nVent representative.
