nVent HOFFMAN operator interface control enclosure now available in stainless steel
Building on the popularity of the nVent HOFFMAN mild steel operator interface control enclosure, nVent has launched a stainless-steel version of the customer favorite.
The new nVent HOFFMAN OICExxxSS is designed for ease of handling and rigorous protection. With the high IP66 and NEMA 12 and 4x protection degree ratings, the enclosure can be used in a wide variety of environments, including ones that require sanitary design.
To make installation and operation in the field easy and convenient, the OICExxxSS enclosure features:
- Pre-machined holes for positioning on a swing arm
- Robust reinforcement plate to ensure the enclosure stays in place
- Welded studs on the inside of the enclosure to make mounting accessories easy
- Available as an accessory: Stainless steel handles that mount to the sides of the enclosure
The OICExxxSS is compatible with standard nVent HOFFMAN wall mounted enclosure accessories, including the new CS480 stainless steel swing arm system, which is also rated IP66 and has a maximum load capacity of 600N.
