A stainless steel lid for a mild steel desk is a cost effective alternative to a complete stainless steel desk within certain environments. For example, a mild steel lid would deteriorate quickly if operators are exposed to chemical agents and transfer them onto it during operations and maintenance.

Feature: Stainless steel lid to replace the standard mild steel desk lid on one-piece consoles or console systems.

Advantage: Mild steel consoles can be fitted with a stainless steel desk lid avoiding the additional cost of having a complete stainless steel console.

Benefit: The part of the console which is heavily used, due to the installed control components, can be made more resistant to operators and the environment by using the stainless steel desk lid. This is especially important in industries where the operators are exposed to chemical agents and may transfer them onto the desk during operation.

Comment: To be used with MPCxx2 and MPG consoles only.
