Roof Fan Unit, RFU

This roof filter fan, RFU, with either a IP 33 or 54 protection degree, to be mounted on the enclosure's roof, is easily mounted with a click-in feature. Thus, no surface needs to be used on the door. Component failure and downtime is eliminated as water and dust are prevented from entering the enclosure. The filter fan's reliable motor guarantees constant ventilation within each enclosure on which the fan is installed.

Advantage: The high quality fan unit is reliable and can provide ventilation to enclosure's that do not have enough space on the door or side panels whether standalone or as part of an enclosure assembly.

Benefit: Component failure and unnecessary downtime is avoided as water and dust are prevented from entering the enclosure and the reliable motor ensures that there is constant ventilation. Floor standing enclosures can be ventilated independently of each other, if required. This avoids ventilating the entire enclosure assembly, reducing the amount of energy required, saving unnecessary costs. The click-in feature reduces the customer's labour cost due to the ease of installation.

Comment: The roof filter fan unit should be installed together with at least one exhaust filter, EFA.
